Anti-Harassment Policy

Effective date: September 19th, 2017

Founders Network offers peer mentorship to a diverse community of tech founders, investors, partners and friends. We value the participation of each member and want everyone to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.

Accordingly, all members are expected to show respect and courtesy to other members both Online and at all events hosted by Founders Network. To make clear what is expected, all members, investors, guests, partners, and volunteers of Founders Network are required to conform to the following Code of Conduct.

Founders Network is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form, nor do we tolerate any behavior that would reasonably lead to another event participant being made to feel unsafe, insecure, or frightened for their physical or emotional well-being.

All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any presentation given in Founders Network or in any presentation associated with or related to Founders Network. Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other members. Behave professionally. Remember that harassment and sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes are not appropriate here.

Each guest is entirely responsible for his or her own actions.

Members violating these rules will be asked to leave Founders Network at the sole discretion of our staff.

Thank you for helping to make this a welcoming, friendly community for all.
