Our History

For the past 5 years, Founders Network has grown steadily; taking care to screen, admit and onboard small cohorts of tech founders each month.  This deliberate approach has lead to an authentic community with an established culture of reciprocity, humility and respect.  From idea to reality, we’ve listened closely to our community every step of the way.   Below are some of the highlights from our journey:

    Late 2010: Ideation

    Initial concept is refined with help from founder friends over many coffees at The Creamery in SF’s SOMA neighborhood.

    March 2011: Private Beta

    Around 40 Charter Members have epic forum discussion. Select company name and tagline: Founders Network (R) and founders helping founders (R).

    October 2015: Inaugural fnSummit in Napa Valley SOLD OUT

    First ever fnSummit features once-a-year opportunity for members to gather from around the world. Members build deeper relationships in a retreat setting over 3 days and 2 nights.
