Los Angeles Startups
& Startup Resources

Los Angeles Startup Mentor Programs

Los Angeles is the second largest city in terms on population in the U.S. and boasts the third largest startup ecosystem according to the Startup Genome Project (2018). Home to the aptly named Silicon Beach, the Los Angeles tech scene recently surpassed Silicon Valley with the largest number of gaming startups in the country. The LA tech scene is supported by leading VCs like Mucker Capital and benefited from the success of a number of major companies like Snapchat and nearby SpaceX.

Just like LAX, Founders Network aims to connect LA to the rest of the world. We utilize our mentorship program to provide Founders and their startups with a global network of resources and support. Founders Network provides peer to peer mentoring for our members along with access to critical startup resources.

This is the best professional network I've seen. The community is open, honest, encouraging and practical. While founders might hesitate to ask certain questions elsewhere that might betray "weakness" or doubt, FN lets me take advantage of the fact that everyone here has either gone through these things, or will do so.
Jamie Smyth
Founder of The Smyth Group
Joining Founders Network was like being reintroduced to my best friends from High School and College. The Founders Network team has created this amazing tribe of people with whom I have kinship, and whose purpose is to help and be helped by people like me.... finding a long searched for brotherhood of startup founders.
Johannes Waldstein
Founder of FanAI
FN meet-ups mean real, honest, and vulnerable discussions with other entrepreneurs. The ability to engage and ask questions in a more intimate format is something I find unique to FN. Love this incredible network of high caliber founders.

In Africa, there is a saying: 'If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.' The great thing about the Founder's Network is that it's not an either/or! We go together farther AND faster, and actually it's way more fun ;)
Alexandra Greenhill
Founder of Careteam
The fn community has been along for my journey through four startups including one dissolution, one major restructure, a successful exit and now a high-growth, funded SaaS company. Being a Founder is sometimes overwhelming and lonely. This community provides guidance and the lift you need when facing your most excruciating obstacles. More importantly, it's a community that genuinely celebrates your successes along the way!
Neha Sampat
Founder of Contentstack
Founding a business can be a lonely pursuit, but being surrounded by a like-minded community enriches the experience. Founders Network is a cadre who provides concrete perspective and insights. In my experience, it's just as enriching to me as a serial entrepreneur to see what and who is coming next, as it would have been to me years ago as a first-time founder to avoid (some!) rookie errors.
