fnMentoring with Vanessa Pestritto of the New York Angels. Her topic Raising Your Seed Round: Guide to the Angel Market will cover market observations and entrepreneurs’ experiences in moving their investors through the pipeline to closing. Pestritto will review market beliefs and address lessons learned. There will be open q&a as we cover different stages from due diligence to funding.

Background: Vanessa Pestritto is Program Director of The New York Angels. She manages deal flow and the investor experience. Her work has led to an increase in member engagement, community participation and overall investment activity making NYA one of the most active Angel groups with over $95M invested. 

She previously worked in technology management consulting on product development as a business lead and prior to that, art organizations where she restructured operations, marketing and managed sales. She currently is a Mentor for the NYU Berkley Venture Competition, BrainTrust Advisor for Entrepreneurs@Athena, was named a Top Latino Tech Leader by the New America Alliance and blogs at IamVP.com.
