Tejpaul Bhatia, Founder of Kaptur
Background: Tejpaul Bhatia was the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at AHAlife, an online platform to discover unique products from around the world. Tejpaul joined AHAlife through a merger with Kaptur, a patent pending mobile and web technology that enables users to collect everyone’s photos from any event in seconds. Tejpaul founded Kaptur and grew it to over 1 Million registered users before merging with AHAlife.
Prior to founding Kaptur, Tej was senior manager of international business strategy for ESPN, where he conceptualized and launched ESPN3, the company’s customizable global broadband video service currently available in over 70 million homes worldwide. He also co-founded Media Strategy Partners, a media asset management consulting company that continues to serve broadcasters worldwide. Tej began his career as a digital media consultant at Scient and then at Sekani.
Company: Kaptur is a website and mobile application that algorithmically finds and collects everyone’s photos from any event, instantly. Kaptur grew organically to over 1 Million registered users before eventually merged with AHALife. In its early days, Kaptur formed partnerships with Beyonce, David Guetta, GetMarried, and RedBull.
