Introducing the November ’14 Cohort of Tech Startup Founders

We are proud to introduce our November ’14 cohort of tech startup founders! Our newest members join Founders Network with years of experience from many different fields–from user experience and software engineering, to commercial real estate and finance. These founders have worked for companies like Motorola, Microsoft, Zynga, Yahoo!, Apple, CBRE, Merrill Lynch, and more, with degrees from top-tier schools including Stanford and Northwestern. Among the 14 new members, we have first-time founders, a SV Founders Institute grad, and serial entrepreneurs who have founded startups that have been funded and successfully exited. Collectively, they’ve raised over $4.5M for their startups. These founders bring a variety of impressive skill sets to the table, and we are excited to see their growth and impact in FN!

Lekan Bashua, Founder of StageHands. StageHands is focused on helping companies create great places to work through space setup, operating processes creation, and building enduring company culture. Lekan is based in Chicago, IL.

Nicholas Carter, Co-Founder of Swaddo. Swaddo is focused on finding solutions for parents to stay in touch with caretakers when they are away from their children. Nicholas is based in Corte Madera, CA.

Amar Chitimalli, Founder of FaunaFace Studios. FaunaFace Studios is building the next game that brings the best of match3 and casual casino together. Amar is based in San Francisco, CA.

Enrique Dubois, Founder of Hoods. Hoods allows users to communicate with people in their local area to discover what is going on nearby. Enrique is based in San Francisco, CA.

Andres Garza, Co-Founder of Schoolhub. Schoolhub transforms the way academic communities learn, keep in touch, and interact with each other.  Andres is based in San Francisco, CA.

Dan Joldzic, Co-Founder and COO of DoggyBnB. DoggyBnb helps users find dog care easier by creating a social network for pet care. Dan is based in New York, NY.

Shannon Ong, Founder and CEO of TheCatch. TheCatch is a playful online dating game. Shannon is based in San Francisco, CA.

Nagesh Pobbathi, Founder of GameCommerce. GameCommerce allows game developers to monetize through user-friendly experiences that are additive to the game and not intrusive. Nagesh is based in San Francisco, CA.

Adam Pokornicky, Co-Founder and CEO of DoggyBnB. DoggyBnb helps users find dog care easier by creating a social network for pet care. Adam is based in New York, NY.

Dan Ripoll, Co-Founder and CEO of Content BLVD. Content BLVD helps brands get inside the content their target consumers already enjoy, including blogs, YouTube, TV, film, events and more. Dan is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Ken Sangha, Founder and CEO of DoublePlay Entertainment Inc. DoublePlay is a social and mobile games developer. Dan is based in Toronto, Canada.

Jeff Shood, Founder and CEO of  Intuvo. Intuvo provides a marketing automation software platform to Credit Unions, Regional Banks and Mortgage Banks. Jeff is based in Santa Cruz, CA.

Scott Steele, Founder and CEO of EDGEhome. EDGEhome provide a best-in-class Smart Home solution that’s affordable, responsive, and easy-to-use. Scott is based in San Diego, CA.

Uday Walia, Co-Founder and CEO of Riiwards Inc. Riiwards Inc. is a loyalty program that boosts sales and profits by increasing repeat business. Uday is based in Pleasanton, CA.

With the addition of the November ’14 Cohort, Founders Network is now more than 500 members strong! We are excited about the deep and diverse experience sets and perspectives each new member brings to our peer mentorship community of tech startup founders.
