Seattle Startup Mentor Programs
Seattle has a unique startup culture. The city is known for the endless amount of individual talent stemming from the larger companies like Amazon and Microsoft who have made it their home. While a number of Venture firms (such as Menlo Park Ventures) help fund Seattle startups, many entrepreneurs still find themselves flying south to Silicon Valley when it’s time to fundraise, creating one challenge for this otherwise powerhouse of a startup city.
Founders Network’s mission is to connect Seattle Founders with global resources that they don’t have access to in Seattle. Based in Silicon Valley, Founders Network is a mentorship program that supports Founders with a global network of peer mentoring and investment opportunities. Seattle members can find the strength of a global network behind them.

I’m a very technical person. Not big on the business side of things. Thanks to Founders Network, I’ve received valuable, actionable business advice from both founders and investors alike.
I would say it’s a very reasonable cost to tap into a worldwide network of entrepreneurs who, as a group, have gone through just about everything you can imagine and have a world of experience they can offer to you.
Each Founders Network Chapter has an appointed Chapter Leadership Team. Made up of founders who have chosen to volunteer their time, they are on deck to give advice, facilitate events, and lead the growth of the Chapter.
