Of all the sectors under the Web3 umbrella, cryptocurrency is the one with the most buzz. Last year was a big one for the cryptocurrency market with top contender Bitcoin hitting multiple all-time high prices in 2021. And while the market has experienced major drops in the months since, institutional buy-in from major companies is at an all-time high.
In light of the continued buzz, the blockchain technology backing crypto is seeing wide adoption by startup founders. According to a recent report, 10 percent of early-stage startups are using it.

Mu Li is the founder of HaHa App (Permutize), a mobile crypto portfolio manager. HaHa’s mission is to lower the barrier to entry for crypto by providing cost tracking and analytics to the mainstream user. He bought his first Bitcoin as an undergrad in 2013 and have been investing heavily ever since. After getting his BS in computer science and working for big tech for a few years, he decided to try his hand at entrepreneurship. At around the same time, he got fed up with calculating his crypto gains/loses and average cost basis using excel. He tried some existing solutions, but they proved inaccurate and hard to use. After realizing that this was a problem many others have as well, he decided to put together a team to tackle this issue. Today, they are working tirelessly to help onboard the next few billion users onto crypto.
