About the Speaker
Hamed is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of WELL Health Technologies Corp. (TSXV:WELL). WELL is consolidating and modernizing primary healthcare operating assets. The Company currently owns and operates 19 healthcare facilities and 3 electronic medical record service providers where more than 400 staff (inclusive of 180 doctors) provide approximately 600k patient visits/year
Previously, Hamed founded TIO Networks (TSXV:TNC) as a kiosk solution provider in 1997 and transitioned TIO Networks into a multi-channel payment solution provider specializing in bill payment and other financial services. TIO Networks was acquired by PayPal (NASDAQ:PYPL) for $304 million in February 2017.
Hamed has extensive strategic M&A and fundraising experience both as an operator with TIO and WELL and as an investor and board member with numerous other businesses including BroadbandTV Corp, MetaOptima Technology Inc., EasyRent Real Estate Group.
