Introducing the August ’15 Cohort of Tech Startup Founders

Welcome to the August ’15 cohort of tech startup founders – Vancouver is a rising hotspot, with three new leaders joining our ranks. Other new members hail from Helsinki, Singapore and, of course, the Bay Area.

They’re giving AirBnB hosts hotel-caliber booking tools, streamlining property management and kitting out outdoor adventurers via the sharing economy.

Antti Rikkinen, Co-Founder of Blucup Ltd. Blucup created Zero Keyboard, which is the best way to communicate with enterprise systems on mobile. It enables fast and detailed mobile data collection without typing and unleashes the full mobile potential of Enterprise software.

Bijan Mawji, Founder and CEO of LocalFixFinder. LocalFixFinder is a platform for property managers that solves the problems of hiring and scheduling maintenance services for their properties.

Daniel Dubois, Founder & CEO of ShareShed. ShareShed is a web and mobile app for renting outdoor equipment from locals. ShareShed is referred to as Airbnb for outdoor gear such as kayaks, standup paddle boards, tents and other outdoor adventure equipment.

David Ordal, Founder of Everbooked. Everbooked helps Airbnb hosts increase their revenue, giving them the same tools that hotels and airlines have had for years.

Kevin McLaughlin, Founder of Actourex. Actourex is a new digital platform connecting tourist attractions with travel resellers. Goodbye paper vouchers. Hello mobile tickets.

Mark Fromson, Founder of LocalSolo. LocalSolo helps you find the Top Freelancers in Your City. Connect directly with over 13,000 local freelance professionals.

Niranjan Rao, Co-Founder of 6degrees. 6degrees is a self-updating phonebook that cleans duplicates, integrates your social networks and backs itself up.

Vimal Misra, Co-Founder of Samvadi LLC. Samvadi is a business software startup, focusing on very small businesses.
